well here i am downloading the new the spill canvas album, one fell swoop, on dial-up. I just cannot wait until I get home to get it. ive been listening to the demos for way too long, I need the real deal. only 4 ½ hours left. Haha. I am patient; I need this! I wish it was in stores… it is much easier to just go out and buy it. im sure I will anyways… this album will be my favorite for a long time.

Here is a little recap on what I have done and discovered the last few days in good old naples, florida. Yeserday my dad, collin, connor and I played 18 holes of golf on a small par 3 golf course. I played reasonably well for never playing that often. I had many pars and a birdie. With a couple of really nice drives and a chip-in, I think I should play more. Just need to work on my putting and short game. My dad came in first; then me, collin, and then connor (oldest to youngest). Connor, being only in 6th grade, played really well. He drove the ball further than collin on almost every hole. I think we are going to play again tomorrow.

If you have never been to naples, well it’s a pretty wealthy area with almost every restaurant and retail store you can ask for. I’d have to say its full of old-timers retiring with old money, and not the most exciting place on earth. But then again I think it would be more fun if I was with my friends than with just the family. Next time I really need to bring along a friend or two. Not saying that the family is bad… but after so many days at the pool, games of losing in poker to younger brothers, long games of rummy, and no ‘real’ freedom to do what you want… it gets old. I think one week is a long enough time. I think tomorrow we are heading to the thrift stores. Haha. I guess they have some of the best down here. So that should be cool. Overall, this vacation has been super relaxing. I guess that’s what vacation is all about; getting away from the real world and spending time with the friends and family (with emphasis on family).

Oh, almost forgot; the title for this post. It is another line from the spill canvas. I really can’t wait for this download to finish.
