// 11.26.2005I’m ready when you are…
I can’t believe my thanksgiving break is over already. It was busy but very nice. I didn’t do any homework at least yet. I think tonight I might try and get some done. It’s just been crazy everyday. I came home Tuesday night and my whole family was here including my cousins, carl and kyle, and my sisters boyfriend kyle. Wednesday i went over salapa’s place to hangout with ryan and nick. I really wish I could have gotten to see them more. My family had thanksgiving at my grammy’s house with that whole side of the family. It’s always nice to see the little runts and all the aunts and uncles. we ended up just spending the night there and the next day we went to see my mom’s uncle gene. There my brothers and cousin kyle taught me how to play euchre… so that was fun. Today my family and I went to see ‘a christmas carol’ at playhouse square in Cleveland. It was good; the family’s season traditional. We went out to some Italian place for dinner afterwards. It was good. Tomorrow I leave back for school at 2… un-be-live-able.
The post's title is from the band brighten… a great new group I discovered this week. I love their sounds and lyrics. I have been listening to them nonstop... and that song was stuck in my head all yesterday. You can listen to their whole ep at breakingcustom.com. good stuff. // 11.14.200521 and invincible, can't wait to screw this up
Yesterday I turned 21. I cannot believe it. It feels great to finally be an official adult with all privileges that come with it, but at the same time I feel old and responsible. Being good or bad. I donno. I guess just sometimes I like being the kid I’ve always felt I was growing up.
This weekend was awesome. I don’t think I could ask for a better birthday weekend. Friday, the party at the college park girls’ place was amazing. I don’t know how to repay everyone for all the effort that was put in. It really means a lot to me. My brother (Collin), his friends, and my cousin (Carl) came up Friday and Saturday. I think everyone had a good time and was happy to have them come. Saturday, I went to see Beth perform in an opera workshop with the other girls. She did very good and is quite a talented one… definitely in the right major. Overall, the show was very successful and enjoyable. Later we went out to the cast party, and I felt a little out of place but at the same time very welcomed. Beth got the whole music crew to sing happy birthday for me… which was very nice of her. =) Later Janna, Kim, Beth and I ended up going to the fieldhouse, a bar on brown street. It was much fun. So… like I said I don’t think I could have had a better birthday weekend. This week is looking pretty crazy, but I think I can handle it. Lots going on academically. The title for is post is from the something corporate song, 21 and invincible. Pretty much fits some of my feelings for being this old now. // archives07.2004 08.2004 10.2004 05.2005 06.2005 07.2005 08.2005 09.2005 10.2005 11.2005 12.2005 01.2006 02.2006 03.2006 05.2006 06.2006 07.2006 01.2007 |
