_frozenglow: road trips and our own business

this past weekend ryan, nick, and i went to bowling green state university. we stayed at one of ryan’s friend’s place friday and saturday. We pretty much just partied all weekend. good times with good friends. we thought that the little trip was so much fun that we should do it again just more hardcore. on the way home, we made a list of places we want visit this summer or next. our goal for this summer is to make road trips to all the places we want to visit on the eastern side of the united states, and next summer take three weeks or so to visit all the places we want to visit in the west. we heard that this is the time in our lives to do this sort of thing… so why not do it. you only live once, might as well do it right. plus, what is more fun than to explore the country with your best friends.

in the car, we also started talking about nick’s small business he wants to get off the ground; DNlighting. a home and landscape lighting company he started. nick pretty much has his company all set; with logos, pricing statements, business cards, brochures, and experience to make anyone’s home look nicely lit up at night. ryan and i want to get involved to not only get this thing off the ground, but blow through the roof. there is no doubt in my mind that we can get this to be an awesome summer job that for some people could be their real job. we are each very different but talented individuals; nick is the most organized person i know. it’s not hard to say he is a perfectionist through his organization, which definitely is a good thing. he is majoring in architecture at penn state, and loves it. his talent and involvement in the field is unbelievable. then there is ryan; easily the most popular kid in high school and college i know. and i honestly don’t know one person that doesn’t like him. he can talk his way in or out of any situation, and can make people do what he wants though being himself. of couse he is majoring in marketing at miami university. and then there is me, the tech kid. i will be of course making the website and helping out with the technology part of it. three best friends working as a team with different traits will make this a successful business. we are all pumped about trips and the business.
